TOWN OF EAGLE POINT FEBRUARY 18, 2008 EAGLE POINT TOWN HALL A meeting of the Eagle Point Town Board was called to order Monday February 18,2008 at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Michael Sedlacek. ROLL CALL: Michael Sedlacek Present Bonnie Ferstenou Present Steve Meinen Absent Ruth Knapp Present Karen Knorn Present A motion was made by Bonnie to approve previous minutes with the correction that Chippewa County would be joining other townships and COUNTIES in the 211 system. Seconded by Chairman Sedlacek. ROLL CALL: Michael Sedlacek Yes Bonnie Ferstenou Yes Motion carried. TREASURER'S REPORT: Money Market: $ 239,140.35 Investment Pool: $ 145,966.97 Tax Account: $ 2,500.00 REPORT FROM CHAIRMAN: None REPORT FROM FIRE CHIEF / DEPT.: There was a fire on 180th which Cornell covered, when they needed assistance they called the Anson Fire dept. instead of Eagle Point, the chief feels they should have called Eagle Point Fire Dept. first, he asked if a letter could be sent to them. The Chairman will talk to the Cornell and Anson Fire chiefs. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Janet Rubenzer-Pike appeared and asked people to vote for her daughter who is running for Chippewa County judge. Kevin Wheeler appeared and asked what reasonable neighbor means, he has 3 dogs and a neighbor that complains constantly about them .. The Chairman will talk to the neighbor again. TOWN BUSINESS: Brad Schuster Did not appear. Intergovernmental/Annexation: The Chairman talked to George Hall about annexation and George said he could come up from Madison to one of our meetings to discuss what the town can do. BARTENDER LICENSES: A motion was made by Chairman Sedlacek to approve a license for Amy O'Donnell seconded by Bonnie. ROLL CALL: Michael Sedlacek Yes Bonnie Ferstenou Yes Motion carried. APPROVAL OF BILLS FOR PAYMENT: $1,604.050.14 A motion was made by Chairman Sedlacek to adjourn meeting seconded by Bonnie.
