NOVEMBER 21, 2011
EAGLE PONT TOWN HALL
The Eagle Point Town Board meeting was called to order on Monday,
November 21, 2011 by Chairman Michael Sedlacek.

Scott Decker Absent

Approval of Previous Minutes: A motion was made by Frank to approve
the Nov. 8 closed session minutes seconded by Mike.

Motion carried.
A motion was made to approve the Nov. 8 Budget Workshop minutes by
Frank seconded by Mike.
ROLL CALL: Mike Sedlacek Yes
Frank Braswell Yes
Motion carried.
A motion was made by Mike to approve the Oct. 17 minutes seconded by
Frank.

Motion carried.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Report given by Clerk
Money Market: $224,956.27
Investment Pool: $ 3,822.76
Tax Account: $ 1,502.08
PUBLIC COMMENTS: The Fire Chief said a questioner was sent to him
about the grant the Fire Dept. received in 2010. He can answer some of
the questions but the Clerk will have to take care of the others.
It is Due Dec. 5th.
Connie Russell asked if anyone from the board was going to the meeting
at 29 Pines on the Silicon Sand plant, she will be going and take
notes, The Board told her Ruth and Scott plan to go.
Pete Logghe Did anything come back from the engineer on the fishing
pier, Chairman Sedlacek said yes but now the DNR is looking over the
plan and there has been no final approval. Pete also said the court
order says the road to the pier has to be plowed, and it didn’t get
plowed after receiving snow, Mike said all the main roads would get
plowed first and if it is a safety issue for the drivers, that road
may not get plowed with every snow fall, Pete said that would be a
violation of the court order. Chairman Sedlacek said I told you it
would get plowed when possible.
Bonnie Ferstenou: Bonnie asked if anything can be done on Darrow road
with the train signals, that road has become very busy. Chairman
Sedlacek said he would get in contact with the Rail Road.
TOWN BUSINESS:
Resolution to amend Town wards: A motion was made by Mike to approve
and sign a Resolution to add an additional ward to the township we now
will have 5 wards instead of 4 with the changes the County Board had
made seconded by Frank.

OPEN BIDS: The Clerk received 3 bids:
Window Air conditioner---$25.00 -----Roman Swan
Flag Pole-----$21.00-------Don Bernier
LP Tank------$250.00------Don Bernier
A motion was made by Mike to award all bids to the people that
submitted them seconded by Frank.

REPORT FROM CLERK: The Town received a check in the amount of
$200.00 for park use from the Chippewa Valley Century Ride Club.
APPROVAL OF BILLS: A motion was made by Frank to approve the payment
of bills in the amount of $57,516.68 seconded by Mike.

A motion was made by Mike to adjourn meeting seconded by Frank.
